Scientific Director - Surgeon Ophthalmologist

The Surgeon Ophthalmologist Moschou Konstantinos was born in 1956, in Kalandra, Chalkidiki. He studied at the Military Medical School of Thessaloniki (SSAS), from where he graduated in 1981 with a grade of “Very Good”. He received the title of specialist in Ophthalmology in 1988, after four years of doing his specialization at Thessaloniki’s Hippokration Hospital. He served as a military doctor from 1981 to 2007, and served as Director of the Ophthalmology Clinic at 424 GSNE (General Military Hospital, Greece).

Since 2003, he has been the Founder and Scientific Director of the Institute of Ophthalmology ‘diathlasis’, a fully fitted ophthalmological microsurgery institute, with the latest generation of equipment that meet the needs of all of its patients.

He specializes in cataract microsurgery, in Laser refractive surgery, and in keratoconus treatment.

He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ESCRS), the International Society of Refractive Surgery (ISRS), the Hellenic Society of Intraocular Implant and Refractive Surgery (HSIOIRS ) and the Ophthalmological Society of Northern Greece (OSNG).

Since 1988, he participates in greek and international ophthalmology conferences with work studies, announcements, posters and presentations of numerous cases. Also, every year he takes part, as rapporteur, at the International Congress of the Hellenic Society of Intraocular Implant and Refractive Surgery, the Panhellenic Ophthalmological Congress, and in meetings of all of the companies presenting issues in Refractive Surgery and Cataract.
